What canvas visuals are

Canvas visuals are images generated by the bot. Once they are on, they replace some messages with an image that carries the same information. They are free for every server.

The images use the server language (French or English), dates and numbers included. Their text is large and high-contrast so it stays readable on mobile: a name that is too long gets smaller, then ends with an ellipsis.

Messages they replace

• Sport and Free match announcements;
• the bet confirmation;
• win and loss DMs;
• refund DMs after a cancellation or deletion;
• the /removebet confirmation.

What stays the same

Bookmaker matches never use visuals. The public result announcement of a match is never an image either. Both stay as regular containers, even with visuals on.

A text summary above the image

The bet confirmation and the win, loss and refund DMs come as a card: a short text summary, then the image. The summary carries the key facts, so you can read it without loading the image:

• bet confirmation: match number and title, choice, stake, odds and potential win;
• refund: match, choice, refunded amount, new balance and the cancellation reason when there is one;
• win: match, choice, net winnings, new balance and server name;
• loss: match, your choice, winning result, new balance and server name.

The /removebet confirmation keeps its success message, with the image below it. Image match announcements stay a plain image with the “🎲 Bet” button.

Image announcements

An announcement posted as an image only has the “🎲 Bet” button, with no choice buttons. It is not changed afterwards: no new title or odds after /match edit, no new deadline, no status and no disabled button when the match closes. The match rules still apply as usual. Regular announcements are updated at every step: see Manage a match.

Turning them on or off

Visuals are on by default for new servers, and the bot’s welcome message says so. To go back to regular messages, an admin uses /pb config with the images:false option, and images:true turns them back on. Servers added before this change keep their setting. The button in the “Canvas visuals” section of the dashboard does the same: see Configuration.
