Before you bet

• You need an account on the server: /pb open. Betting never creates one. Without an account, the bot replies “You don’t have an account. Use /pb open to create one.”
• You must not hold the server’s restricted role (restrictedrole).

Placing a bet

Three paths lead to the same stake form:

• The choice buttons on the public announcement. On a Sport or Free match, the announcement has one button per result, with its odds (for example “PSG · ×1.85”). A click opens the stake form right away, so a bet takes two steps.
• /bet, which privately opens the first open match. The ◀ ▶ buttons move between matches, and 📋 opens a list of matches (25 per page, with Previous and Next). Then click the result you want.
• The “🎲 Bet” button under the announcement, which privately opens the match page, as in /bet.

Bookmaker announcements and image announcements (canvas visuals) have no choice buttons, only the “🎲 Bet” button.

Enter your stake and submit. /listmatches has no bet button, so go through the announcement or /bet.

You can bet from any channel. The betschannel option is saved but not used by the bot yet.

Stake rules

The stake form shows your balance and these limits. You cannot top up or change an existing bet. To change your mind on a match that is not Bookmaker, remove the bet and bet again.

Odds and payout

• Your odds are locked when you bet. Later changes do not affect you.
• The potential payout is stake × odds, rounded down. It includes your stake.
• The stake is debited right away.

Example: a 100-coin stake at 1.5 pays 150 if you win, a profit of 50.

Deadline

A bet is refused as soon as the match is no longer open or its deadline has passed. The bot does not close matches on the dot: the match switches to “closed” at the next /bet, /listmatches or click on a bet button. The public announcement then shows “Closed” and its bet buttons are disabled.

Confirmation

The bet confirmation is a private reply with your choice, stake, odds, potential payout and new balance. If canvas visuals are on for the server, it is an image (except for Bookmaker matches).

You do not get a DM when you place a bet. DMs only arrive when the match is settled, cancelled or deleted.

Bookmaker matches

On a Bookmaker match the odds move as people bet. You bet on it with /bet or the “🎲 Bet” button. Three special cases:

• If the odds moved by 0.005 or more between opening the form and submitting it, the bet is refused and nothing is debited. Reopen the match to accept the new odds.
• A bet too large for the market’s risk limit is refused with nothing debited. Try a smaller stake or another result.
• A “Suspended” result cannot be bet on for now.

A Bookmaker bet is final: you cannot remove it.

Seeing your bets

/pb mybets lists your pending bets, 5 per page, grouped into three categories: cancelable, not cancelable (Bookmaker match) and not cancelable (match closed or deadline passed). Each cancelable bet has its own “🗑️ Cancel” button. The reply is private unless you set privee:false.

Removing a bet

You can remove a bet in three ways:

• /removebet, which lists your removable bets (25 per page, with Previous and Next) and then asks for confirmation;
• the “🗑️ Remove my bet” button on the match page, in /bet or after the announcement’s “🎲 Bet” button;
• the “🗑️ Cancel” button next to a bet in /pb mybets.

Both buttons first show a confirmation card with the match, your pick and the refund amount. Click “Cancel the bet” to confirm, or “Keep the bet”. The card expires after 5 minutes; just click the bet’s button again if that happens.

A bet can only be removed while the match is open, before its deadline, and if it is not a Bookmaker match. These conditions are checked again when you confirm. The stake is refunded in full and the bet no longer counts in your stats.

What happens next

• Match settled: you get your payout or lose your stake, with a DM. See Manage a match.
• Match cancelled or deleted: your stake is refunded, with a DM.
• If you close your account with /pb close, your pending bets are deleted without a refund. See Economy.
